FIELD CONTROL DEVICE (RTU)
Field Control Device (FCD) is the device that provides communication between the physical field equipment and the SCADA system, transmits the signals and information coming from the field to the central control system, and carries the commands coming from the central control system to the field. It is a RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) type product.
